Kids of Immigrants x Nike Air Max SNDR SP Persian Violet
Multi
After working on a set of Air Max 1 '86 colourways in 2023, Kids of Immigrants are back with Nike Air Max SNDR SP to interpret the SNDR “Persian Violet” in its own unique way. Hot on the heels of the OG version’s return, this Special Projects collaboration with the KoI reinvents the archival model. Is the Kids of Immigrants Air Max Sunder "Sun Down" the brand's best collaboration so far? Let us know what you think! This limited-edition flaunts a violet-to-pink gradient throughout its nylon upper, reinforced by blue grid overlays on the sides. A dark grey suede wraps around the toe to anchor the vibrant upper, offset by an orange mini Swoosh on the lateral rear. The zipped-up shroud covers the co-branded labels and two-tone laces, whilst the orange pull tab on the heel helps tie the palette together. Under the shroud lies a mesh booty with orange lace loops similar to the lacing system on the Air Max 95. On the reverse of the lace shroud lies a Columbian flag with three stars that reflect the type of stars also seen on both the Liberian and Honduran flag, countries who Weleh Dennis and Daniel Buezo are connected to.
